Do you invite your prospective customers to ask questions...or do you try to
avoid getting questions from them? You're walking away from many easy sales if
you don't encourage prospects to ask questions.

It's 2004. Do You Know Where Your Recovery Is? Eight Resolutions to Prospering in the New Year

It’s a new year, and if the headlines are to be believed, economic activity
is finally on the uptick. After three tough years, some companies may be
breathing a sigh of relief -- and may be tempted to return to the profligate
ways of the late ‘90s. That’s a temptation well worth resisting.

Managing Outsourcing Relationships: Beating the Backlash

While virtually every business now relies on information technology (IT) to
help provide services or deliver products to the marketplace, things have rarely
been more precarious for in-house IT professionals. This is so despite the
conventional wisdom that IT is acknowledged to be more strategic than ever.

Can Money Still Be Made In The Hosting Industry?

At first glance, the Web Hosting Industry looks to be well over saturated
with loads of hosts full of great features for incredibly cheap pricing. This is
in fact a truth. The industry is well saturated with hordes of web hosts
charging prices it's impossible to compete with and loads more joining the price
wars every month. This probably has you wondering how one can make money in this
type of market. The answer is quite easily actually.

My Experience Starting a Web Hosting Company Part 2 -- Keeping it Simple

When I started my hosting company, I was instantly attracted to the big name
billing software companies. ClientExec, ModernBill, etc. I looked for the one
with the prettiest features and the most amount of options, and went for it. I
picked ModernBill.

My Experience Starting a Web Hosting Company

About 2 years ago I made an attempt to start my own hosting company and I
bombed out big time. I registered the domain name, and signed up for the
reseller account having NO experience, knowledge, or even a website -- it didn't
take very long to realize I made a mistake.

Starting a Web Hosting Business 101

I. Is the hosting industry profitable?

The hosting industry at the status quo is oversaturated with small to large
hosts. You'll find that if you're joining in the hosting industry that it'll
take you some time before you make much of a profit or even cover your expenses.
Starting a web hosting business is an investment which will take time, energy,
patience, and money to do. I believe though that it is by all means possible to
make a profit by starting off with a reseller account, targetinglocally, and
sticking to quality deals rather than the overselling @ $1 for half your server
method, which we'll talk about later in this post.

What It Takes To Make a Business Site Successful

There has never been a better time to launch a business web site than right
now. The Internet is exploding, as more people have begun to use it regularly. According to Jim Daniels, editor of the Bizweb E-Gazette, new Internet sites
have been popping up at the rate of one per minute. As it expands at this pace,
it's clear that the Internet’s entanglement of words, pictures, sound, and
motion is becoming more than just the most important new communication medium
since television.
