With its aim on the enterprise market, MySQL AB on Wednesday debuted a preview edition of a clustered version of its open-source database, and said it would push out a production version in the third quarter of the year.The goal, said the Swedish-based open-source developer, is to expand its market to customers that require a high-availability database, but don't want to shell out the money for higher-priced software from database providers such as Oracle, IBM, and Microsoft.
