Perfect Order and Sun Microsystems will be hosting two seminars in the Philadelphia area titled, Issues in Network Security. The seminars will be held on April 13 in Philadelphia and King of Prussia.

Distinguished engineer, Dr. Radia Perlman will be the featured speaker at the Philadelphia area events which will be held on April 13. The first session will be from 8AM-10AM at the Pyramid Clubon Market Street in Philadelphia. Breakfast will be served. The location for the afternoon session is the Hilton Valley Forge, DeKalb Pike in King of Prussia. Lunch will be served during this seminar which will be held from 11:30AM-1:30PM. About Dr. Radia Perlman
Dr. Radia Perlman is a Distinguished Engineer. Her contributions to the field of network security include sabotage-proof routing, cross-organizational trust, efficient revocation, redesign of IPsec's IKE protocol, strong password protocols, and credentials download. She is also known for her contributions to bridging (spanning tree algorithm) and routing (link state routing). She is the author of "Interconnections: Bridges, Routers, Switches, and Internetworking Protocols," and co-author of “Network Security: Private Communication in a Public World." She holds about 70 issued patents. She has an S.B. and S.M. in mathematics and a Ph.D. in computer science from MIT and an honorary doctorate from KTH, the Royal Institute of Technology in Sweden.
